Endowed Social Justice Colloquium
This annual, college-wide interdisciplinary conference brings together distinguished scholars and artists to public lectures and panels. Endowing the Social Justice Colloquium ensures that resources will be designated in perpetuity to guarantee an annual conference of the highest standards consistent with the CSUMB mission.

College of Business
The Entrepreneurship Fund
The Entrepreneurship Fund supports the Institute for Innovation and Economic Development (IIED) which has become a regional powerhouse for entrepreneurship development, innovation and regional economic development. Its flagship Startup Monterey Bay Hackathon, Startup Monterey Bay Startup Weekend and its Startup Monterey Bay Startup Challenge have graduate hundreds of entrepreneurs with the many companies they have started surviving and growing to see the regional tech and business ecosystem. It has contributed significantly to the establishment of the tech ecosystem in the Monterey Bay region.

Monterey Institute for English Learners
The Monterey Institute for English Learners in the School of Education partners with local school districts to prepare and support bilingual teachers. Credentialed teachers with a Bilingual Authorization and those participating in Institute-designed professional development programs will be well positioned to support California's commitment to English Learners.

Teacher Pathway Program
CSUMB and the College of Education are innovating and implementing an impactful teacher credential 'pathway program' in King City in collaboration with Hartnell College in an effort to “grow our own” elementary and special education teachers for schools in South Monterey County, schools that are experiencing critical teacher shortages.

College of Health Sciences and Human Services
Physician Assistant Program
CSUMB is called to train a sustainable cohort of highly skilled, motivated and culturally competent Physician Assistants. The term cultural competence denotes the knowledge, skills, and behavior required to deliver optimal health care services to a diverse population.

Diversity Celebration Series
The Diversity Celebration Series, hosted by the College four times annually, provides students, health and human service professionals, and the local community with access to the contributions of highly esteemed and underrepresented minorities in health and human services. In so doing, we elevate and reinforce our local understanding that will advance our commitment to culturally responsive health and human services programming and treatment.

Exercise Physiology and Strength Conditioning Equipment
A new Cardiovascular Exercise Science Training (CEST) Laboratory will include Instrumented Treadmills and Ergometers with EKG systems, Portable Metabolic System(s), Timing Systems, exercise bikes, Balance Assessment Technology and Electromyography (EMG) System. Ias well as an athletic strength and conditioning facility to provide performance-based athletic training and to study human abilities and sports medicine.

Marine Science Endowment
Securing a reliable, consistent stream of funding to ensure authentic hands-on experiences for Marine Science students for future generations is a College of Science campaign fundraising priority.
